Topic: StarFox Wii Wants

Discuss@ http://game-blogs.webs.com/contact

Since the Wii was first released, StarFox fans have wanted a motion controlled StarFox game. This is probably the most suprising game that has not been announced for Wii (although the games creator did express that he would like to create a new StarFox for the Wii.) So, while it might be far off(or may never come)? We want to know what you want out of a StarFox for Wii. Here?s what we think would be great:

?Motion Sensitive Controls(use wii remote side ways)

?Online Co-op

?Online DogFights

?Online Rankings and Mii ID

?Offline Co-op

?Use Wii Speak to coordinate online play

?Use Wii motion plus for extreme accuracy

?13+ Missions

?Similarities to StarFox 64

?Customizable options for everything

?Immense Storyline and GC

Tell us what you?d want by clicking on the link above that says Discuss @

What is NintendoFest and How does it work?

Posted on July 25, 2009 at 10:21 AM Comments comments (0)

What is NintendoFest?

NintendoFest is an annual online gaming event that takes place every summer (normally during July or August.) NintendoFest is actually several different online gaming tournaments spread out over one weekend. This Years NintendoFest will take place on August 21st,22nd,and 23rd . The gaming events will go as follows: a Super Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament (21st), a The Conduit Tournament (22nd),a Mario Kart Wii Tournament (23rd), and a Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass Tournament (23rd).The Winner of each tournament will have their name and website listed in an upcoming News article and on the NintendoFest 2009 page for the next year.

How It Works?

Now that your signed up your saying to yourself, ”How is this suppose to work.” (Well its quite simple!)Let’s say for example, you have signed up for the Super Smash Bros. Tournament. You should come to this site (game-blogs.webs.com) on August 21st and click on the contact page. Next you should type (in the box that says “sign Guestbook) something like,” I’m ready to play online.”

NOTE: Be sure to have your opponents registered in your friend rosters. Also make sure that your Nintendo Wii is online at the time you say your ready.(SUBNOTE—You can find whom you will be facing by looking for your UserName on the Nintendofest page and looking for PARTICIPANTS.) When you and your opponent are registered in each others rosters, go to a friend match and wait to play them (you or your opponent can start a match and then you or your opponent can join that match.)When you finish a match (win or lose),go to

game-blogs.webs.com/contact and let me (wolf) know who won so you can advance.

Cell and Creature phase tips and strategies

Cell Stage Tips: Topic: Cell Stage Consequences

Playing cell stage is a short yet meaningful journey. Cell stage is meant for you to learn the basics of the game. However, the body parts you find and what you eat in this stage will determine everything in your game. If you are a carnivore, for example, you will need to kill other creatures in the creature stage (in order to eat)-meaning you will be seen as violent. Continuing this creature through the Tribal stage, You will have a harder time befriending tribes. In the Space stage, this creature will be seen as a tyrant and your empire will be more aggressive.

However, this same creature, being a carnivore could take a different path in its creature stage and completely alter its life. If you were more social and befriended every creature you could(although you still have to eat!), you may end up in the tribal stage being a very social people. Your Empire would later branch out to cover many planets. In this situation, you may be seen as a push-over.  Here is a list of what tributes you can acquire:

TRAIT / CREATURE POWER/ TRIBE POWER / CIV POWER/ SPACE CONSEQUENCE

Carnivore / Raging Roar  /  Traps/  Invulnerability /  Power Monger Consequence

Herbivore / Siren Song/ Refreshing Storm/ Healing Aura/ Social Suave Consequence

Omnivore / Summon Flock/Flying Fish/ Static Bomb/ Gentle Generalist Consequence

Creature Stage Tips: Topic: Epic Creatures

Avoiding the beasts and basically the rulers of the land is a scary thing to do. The Epic creatures that roam the land in the Creatures, Tribal, and Space phase are very angry and powerful creatures. To avoid them, follow these steps.

Step 1. Know your surroundings. Study your map and your nest and look for the best possible route for escape if an epic attacks your nest.

Step 2. Never take on an Epic. If  you are too close to an Epic?s Nest the Epic will attack you. Your Pack may fight back but unless you have high health (400 or more HP) you and your pack will be killed!

Step 3.Befriend Lower Class Epics. If you are in a difficult fight with an Epic and you don?t have the power to fight, it is a great back up to befriend a lower class creature with high Hp (usually around 200 or 300) to back you up.

Game Overview:

In a fictional near future, Washington D.C. is shaken by several strange events resulting in heightened local and national tensions. John Adams, the enigmatic leader of a shadow organization known as the Trust, realizes that the nation’s capital has come under attack by an alien race called the Drudge. A former Secret Service agent, codenamed "Mr. Ford", is recruited to learn the origins of this attack. The answer Mr. Ford finds is not the one he expects.

The Conduit is a fast-paced action First Person Shooter (FPS) set in the near-future of a fictional America. Players battle enemy forces in a highly detailed 3D world using a dynamic control scheme only possible on the Wii.

Features:

• “Next-Gen” Visuals – Dynamic environment mapping, interactive water with real time reflection, and four stage texture composition including gloss, diffuse, and bump mapping all make this the best looking game on the Wii

• Fearsome Enemies – A vast number of terrifying alien creatures work against you as you attempt to prevent the invasion

• Intelligent Behavior – Enemies make use of human-like behavior in combat including use of cover and tactical thinking

• Intense Weaponry – Unleash destruction with a huge arsenal of human and alien weaponry that utilizes the innovative Wii controller for unique firing modes

• Secrets Revealed – Use a device called the All Seeing Eye (ASE) to reveal concealed objects and enemies, providing a deeper level of puzzle solving
